The 2024/25 Palace FPL Season Review

The curtain closed on the 2024/25 season on the last weekend of May, and with it also came the end of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game. Join us as we take a look back on some of our standout Palace performers!

Top five points scorers

Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m) - 150

Leading from the front, as he tends to do, is striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Frenchman was also Palace’s top scoring FPL asset last season and tops the charts this time around with a tally of 14 goals, two FPL assists and a whopping 27 bonus points.

He was in the Team of the Week three times throughout the season - in Gameweek (GW) 4 against Leicester City, GW22 against West Ham United and GW24 against Manchester United.

Mateta was also Palace’s most transferred-in player throughout the campaign, with the striker being brought in 4,153,805 times. Did he make a difference for you this season?

Second to Mateta, by just a single point, is Ismaïla Sarr. In his first season in red and blue, the No. 7 made a huge impact and beat his previous high of 107 points which he achieved with Watford in 2019/20.

Sarr was one of two players who were ever-present for every single Premier League game this season and it’s reflected with his tally of eight goals and seven FPL assists. He also racked up 14 bonus points.<br> The Sengal international was also in the Team of the Week four times, the joint-most of any Palace player in FPL. He was also the Player of the Week in GW16 by racking up the most points, 17, during his standout performance against Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX.

Hot on the heels of Sarr is fellow attacking midfielder Ebere Eze. He finishes the season on 148 points, one behind Sarr and two behind Mateta. He has eight goals and eight FPL assists this season, which also saw him earn 15 bonus points.

Eze was also the Player of the Week in GW36, thanks to his brace away at London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, which saw him rack up 16 points.

He again tops the charts on the ICT (Influence, Creativity and Threat) Index for Palace players in FPL, with a score of 222.4.

In fourth place for FPL points was Palace’s 24/25 Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season Daniel Muñoz, as the Colombian registered four goals, six FPL assists, 11 clean sheets and 11 bonus points for a complete tally of 142 points.

He was named in the Team of the Week four times as well: in GW36, 26, 24 and 13. He was also nearly ever-present in the squad, only missing out on a trip to the Emirates Stadium due to suspension.

Muñoz was also Palace’s most-selected player at the end of the campaign, with him being in 19.3% of all squads, which equates to over 2,000,000 managers selecting the wing-back.

Rounding up the top five, is goalkeeper Dean Henderson. Not only was he ever-present this season, the shot stopper played every single minute of every single Premier League game this campaign.

This resulted in him scoring 135 points, with 11 clean sheets, eight bonus points and 104 saves - resulting in 34 additional points. Him being ever-present also saw him earn two points per game, which is 76 points without accounting for any negative points.

Henderson was also in the Team of the Week three times: GW33, 14 and 9. Gameweek 9’s performance was against Tottenham Hotspur, where he and the defence kept their first clean sheet of the campaign.

An honourable mention goes to the boss himself, Oliver Glasner, who was introduced to the game via the new Assistant Manager chip in GW24.

This gave FPL managers the option to have one of the 20 Premier League managers in their side for three consecutive Gameweeks, and if you timed it right you could have got a huge number of points.

Glasner earned 128 points, second only to David Moyes’ tally of 137. In GW26 and GW27, where Palace toppled both Aston Villa and Fulham, Glasner managed 20 points apiece due to the manager table bonus points for a win.

This season has been incredibly fruitful for Palace assets in FPL, with the team doing well on the pitch, smashing records, and of course, making history. Here’s to more of the same in 2025/26!
